Issue 51 of Neon Literary Magazine is our horror issue, and it’s all kinds of scary. There are dragons, ghosts, and star creatures lurking on every page. An expedition to locate a mysterious cryptid goes tragically wrong. Polar bears stalk through the streets of a remote town while the residents cower in their basements. The sea transforms, becomes other, leaves us behind altogether.
This issue features the work of Anthony Cartwright, Natalie Crick, Matt Cartmell, Chris Neilan, Gareth D Jones, David Ralph Lewis, Vivienne Burgess, Marqués de Márquez, Michal Choinski, Amber Rollinson, Christian Butler-Zanetti, and Sonia Overall.
Neon is pay-what-you-want to download, and costs just £6.00 for a physical copy. In its perfect-bound format each issue is around 80 pages, and is photo-illustrated in black and white.
Published autumn 2020 (print and online).
