The Forward Prizes for Poetry have been running for almost two decades now, but their mission remains the same: to recognise the best poetry published in the UK and Ireland each year. They’re among the most prominent poetry prizes in the country.
As usual, we’ve put forward three of our favourite poems from Neon Literary Magazine. Our nominees this year are:
“AMNZ and the Golem” by Andrew Nightingale
“Places I See Jenny” by Natalie Crick
We wish all of them the very best of luck, and look forward to reading the Forward Book of Poetry 2021. Fingers crossed we’ll see one or more of them there!
