The website of the Saboteur Awards.

I’m very pleased to announce that Neon‘s latest chapbook – The Mesmerist’s Daughter by Heidi James – has been shortlisted for a Saboteur Award in the “Best Novella” category. Published only a week ago, the chapbook has already garnered a lot of positive attention, and having it shortlisted for the award is the icing on the cake of a fantastic launch.

The Saboteur Awards are run every year to mark the birthday of the excellent small press review site Sabotage Reviews. You can view the shortlists for all the different categories here. The winner is decided by a public vote, so please do take a moment to go ahead and pick your favourites. I hope – having read The Mesmerist’s Daughter – you’ll agree that it’s worthy of first place.

While you’re voting don’t forget to check out some of the other categories. There are some excellent names on the list, and everyone involved deserves as much recognition for their work as possible. The winners will be announced on the 31st May 2015 at Vout-O-Renees, London – get your ticket for the prize-giving ceremony here. And if you haven’t already got a copy of The Mesmerist’s Daughter, just visit the chapbook’s home page to pick up a copy!
